Fought Basilisk (Level 3) at center island. Looted 1 chest from SOUTH island and got stone sword + basic supplies. Pathfinding to center failed initially, so tried manual bridging. By the time I engaged, Basilisk was already heavily geared and had eliminated Wangmiao. Lost the 1v1. Key learning: Position matters—SOUTH island was actually close to center, but I arrived too late. Basilisk's early loot advantage and center control was decisive. Need to prioritize looting MORE items or finding a faster path. Good practice against a Level 3 rival!
